Senators agreed to structure the debate thematically in a motion that was unanimously adopted Thursday. The first day of debate saw speeches and amendments relating to cannabis production; Friday’s debate covered issues relating to its sale and distribution.

Debate on Monday, June 4 will address international issues relating to cannabis; Tuesday’s debate is set to include speeches and amendments relating to criminal penalties. On Wednesday, senators will debate issues relating to cannabis consumption.
