While we had high hopes that we would be able to gather again this July to Celebrate together, we have determined that there are too many variables at play to ensure a safe event that also exceeds the high standards that we have set our annual International Pinot Noir Celebration.

After much consideration, the IPNC board of directors has decided to embrace a digital approach by hosting a Virtual IPNC in the summer of 2021. We encourage you to save the date for Saturday, July 24, 2021, to join us for our 35th annual, fully Virtual IPNC - featuring some of the top winemakers and wine luminaries in the world!

This year's Grand Seminar is entitled The Perfume of Pinot and will be led by award-winning wine writers Julia Coney ( Wine Enthusiast, Vinepair, Food + Wine, The Tasting Panel, Plate Magazine, Washington Post) and Michelle Williams (Forbes, Wine Enthusiast, Rockingredblog.com).

Here are the details: Much like a memorable wine, fragrance has a distinct power in its ability to take us to a specific time and place. Whether it’s the scent of perfume or the aroma of wine, our sense of smell guides our initial response. In this year’s virtual Grand Seminar, we’ll explore Pinot Noir through the language – and the nose – of the perfumer. Join co-moderator and wine writer Julia Coney, a former perfume writer, and her co-moderator, wine writer Michelle Williams, as they engage our all-star panel of winemakers in conversation about the science of scent, how what we smell influences what we taste, and how the words we use to describe aromas can impact the way we experience wine.

We are still finalizing details but wanted to share the news with you so that you have priority access to secure your spot before we release information to the general public.

In total, we are only able to offer a total of 100 Virtual IPNC packages that include:

  • Eighteen (18) bottles of hand-selected premium Pinot Noir wines shipped to your home.
  • A Grand Seminar with a star-studded panel of wine legends and luminaries.
  • Two (2) University of Pinot classes of your choice featuring some of the top minds in the world of wine.
  • Cooking demos and recipes from award-winning Pacific Northwest chefs.
  • Plus, other fun surprises!

We encourage you to gather safely with your "social pod" this July to experience IPNC in the comfort of your own home - safe and secure while sipping some of the finest examples of Pinot Noir in the world! All-inclusive packages are priced at $995.00 and are already moving quickly.

As a friend of IPNC and a member of our mailing list, you are receiving priority access to secure your tickets. Thus far, tickets have only been offered to current IPNC 2021 weekend ticket holders that are rolling over to 2022, but interest is very high and spots are limited.
